One of the bigger product marketing campaigns I developed introduced the Crosley Cruiser record player in Germany and the Netherlands. My campaign linked signifiers like summer, fun, sex, and a sense of adventure to the playful Crosley Cruiser. The campaign video was used during trade shows in Germany, France, and the Netherlands. Eventually, Crosley Radio America got a hold of my campaign video and requested to use it for their own marketing in North America.
Additionally, I grew the campaign by managing and arranging special Crosley Festival Areas called Foresta del Disco and #SOSOSLOW Café at festivals in Amsterdam (Amsterdam Woods, Amsterdam Dance Event – ADE). Hot DJs played singles on the Cruisers in a whimsical setting. We arranged in-store performances by alternative bands, and we launched giveaway campaigns on social media to establish a fun and exciting product image. Watch the campaign video below.
In 2017, Crosley as a brand gained prominence in Europe. Partly because of a company called Swordfish and Friend. I designed posters, postcards, company brochures, event merchandise, and social media content, and I also served as director for product photography and partial photography.
In addition, I designed all the artwork for the Swordfish and Friend pop-up store in Hamburg. This included event posters, social media content, merchandise illustrations, price cards, and more. I worked as Swordfish & Friend’s designer for nearly a year before studying in Canada.
